It was a lot of fun working with Denise Zidel from Snob Stu designing
signage for Malton Medical. She knows what she wants and how to get it!
When she says “That it” you know you have found the vision in her head.
Denise wanted to make the interior look friendly, inviting and professional.
I feel we successed at do that using lower case lettering,
an interesting colour combination and professionally produced signs.
When it comes to signs sometimes less is more.
To many signs can confuse clients and look cluttered and messy.
Maintaining a consistance design, grouping messages and elliminating
signs thought to be needed helps direct your clients more eenctly.
I feel all of the above shows in the Malton Medical project.
Painted 1/2” Acrylic lettering mounted on 1/2” spacers
An interesting way to split up the colours at a Medical Center.
This graphics is possitioned so it is easily seen at the bottom of the stairs
to ensure patients that chose not to use the elevator
they were not climbing the stairs in vain.
This is a seperate business inside the Medical Centre.
I am very happy they used my suggestion to maintian the same
style of sign as the rest of the building.
